Went to Nikon service Center to check out secondary body..

the showroom is incredibly small but to the point. managed to play with a couple of bodies. No one to bug me all the time i was there. The D700 looks pretty good.

went to check out a couple of bodies for secondary use since Pentax doesnt seem to have any plans for 600-800mm and above range of lenses.

along the way noticed that Tanjong Pagar is like a rojak of architecture designs,


Now i see why Fuji chose Nikon mount...japan also same.


A cut up display lens and brochures.

*Just a note, they dont sell Nikon vests anymore.

Huh? Since when did they sell vests? If I had known I would have gone down to get them.
My vests were hard to come by.. I need a new one soon I think.

can somebody pls tell me the advantages of wearing a vest, other than the convenience of many pockets?

ain't it hot and humid and sticky in our local weather?

i frankly don't know, have never worn one.

I went there recently too. I am not awared they shifted up. Now the NSC n showroom combines and yes it bit small now.

depends what you wear inside...a vest is pretty useful to have unless you like digging your bag for the things you want especially during high level events where space constraint is insane. For walkabouts, no need to wear but i do anyway since it does make a comfortable jacket..

sometimes, the most obvious questions get the most obvious answers, which are exactly what i needed.
i have never shot any high level event, but from now onwards, i will consider getting a vest if the opportunity arise.

i sweat buckets, so no jackets outdoor for me.

Take note some high level events are shot outdoors. In those cases I tend not to use the vest but ask my assistants to wear the vests instead...

they become my "walking vests"
