hi all
35lux images from M8 are very soft. Is that exhibit the character of lux or simply a backfocus problem? if so where can i send it to check? thanks for all |

you might want to check the M8 body with other lenses. My M8 focusing was off with every lens and so had to send the body back.

oh wait, if you are using a pre asph 35mm summilux wide open, it's pretty soft. Which version of summilux are you using? The way to check is to see if there is any point in the photo which is sharp. if the sharp point is in front or behind the subject means focus point is off. If everything soft, then it's probably the lens.

you can do a simple newspaper test to check for back or front focusing.
but as ckuang pointed out, if it is off, it is not nec the lens, but could be the camera. so check with other lenses and other camera if you can. |
