Is the man aware or has given you permission to take a picture of him? Please be considerate, not all people appreciate if you take their picture and post it in public.

if we had 2 ask permission of every1 we wanted 2 shoot, there wld be no henri-cartier bresson, no street photog, no report/journalistic or travelogue photos, only pics of bugs and buildings.
shooting ppl in public is permissible as long as it's not exploitative eg. used for advertisements, in which case a model release wld b needed. as for all other cases, up to photographer's conscience. cases like ppl making out in public, or some boo-boo like pants fell down, it would be sad if photographer exploited it. that's a challenge on decency n modesty. but the persons are, after all, in public. i don't think pic#1 is exploitative at all. |
