Default Walkabout @ Bugis

Like to share some photos taken with my 50mm prime during my leisure walkabout at Bugis area.

No post processing done. They are as they are when shot.

c&c welcome!

Is the man aware or has given you permission to take a picture of him? Please be considerate, not all people appreciate if you take their picture and post it in public.

if we had 2 ask permission of every1 we wanted 2 shoot, there wld be no henri-cartier bresson, no street photog, no report/journalistic or travelogue photos, only pics of bugs and buildings.

shooting ppl in public is permissible as long as it's not exploitative eg. used for advertisements, in which case a model release wld b needed. as for all other cases, up to photographer's conscience.

cases like ppl making out in public, or some boo-boo like pants fell down, it would be sad if photographer exploited it. that's a challenge on decency n modesty. but the persons are, after all, in public.

i don't think pic#1 is exploitative at all.

Hmmm... I didnt think of that cos if everyone's permission are to be sought, then where would the element of "candid-ness" be? What was on my mind was to snap people in their daily lifestyle routine and present them as they are... anyways the man was definitely aware that I was shooting him... he even asked me if I wish to buy tissue from him...
