Rodinal can keep how long ?

How long can i keep an unopened developer ? And how long if its open. Thanks

depends on the developer itself.

I've had experience with Rodinal that has been many years expired but that was kept in the dark in an airconditioned room for many many many years and it still produces solid prints as if it never died.

unlike other developers, after using 1/2 the bottle, i did not add marbles or whatnot to rid the excess airspace.....and it still went strong.

I think the main issue is just keep it in the dark in somewhere cool preferably.

I have another bottle that is lying somewhere in an empty shoe box under a table next to a cool wall and the bottom of the table is so filled with stuff that the Rodinal does not see light at all. I am pretty confident that when i return to Singapore and use that bottle, it will still be as good as ever!
