Default Need Advice to Select Video Camera for Image Processing

Hi Vid Experts,

Need some help to select a video camera.
Requires a cam to be able to stream live (and recorded ) video via firewire to a pc.
As the subject is moving fast, need to shutter at 1/1000 or faster.
Recorded video must retain high resolution with no compression artifacts.
Now using a canon mv-1 which is serving well but is getting on in age and needs to be replaced.
Need to have zoom at least like the mv-1.
Any recommendations , advice well appreciated.

Letting go of my HV20 for $700 if you are interested. Good condition and excellent manual controls. Check out HV20.com for reviews.
