Finally, after a very long wait......Digital version of Waterproof Canon...(Canon PowerShot D10):
http://www.dpreview.com/news/0902/09021805canond10.asp Film version (Canon Sure Shot A-1)it's waterproof & that was ages ago....: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Panorama.../dp/B00016QMDW I wish for something good imaging, fast, yet, light & compact, waterproof & rugged......something better than my Olympus mju SW (waterproof) or my G10 (good camera but not waterproof)...when I don't want to lug my dslr & 17-40 / 70-200 lens....something that can withstand heavy splashing, accidental dipping, not for diving though....for sporty people or those with young kids... I WISH Canon can made a waterproof digital version of this:http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Canon_Epoca or http://www.camerapedia.org/wiki/Yashica_Samurai_X4.0 or http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canonpro90/page3.asp (either dSLR mirror-shutter type or creative zoom type).....with big sensor, high ISO low noise, big aperture, wide to telezoom, non-protruding zoom lens, most importantly....WATERPROOF! (perhaps rugged, even military specs....G-shock version! )![]() the way digital cameras are made, still have a lot to desire....or Canon is giving a chance for others...
