canon current DSLR promo for 450D

anyone enjoyed this promo can let me know info of both these guide book (say who wrote it or a link to the cover page)??

and the EOS bag they giving away is which one? how much is worth outside?

The bag is worth about $10-$20...the guide book is quite nice. Lets you have a brief idea on what lenses you might want to get next.

the guide book u mean is the 450D one and not the lens one, as theres a option to chose the bag or lens guide book.. ? is both guide book available in bookshop? any idea how much?

guide book useless...only make u wanna buy buy buy more lens...

bag? hmm.....only useful in the first few mths, wks or even days b4 u decide 2 get a bigger bag.

all these normally standard freebies.....

go for the the with the best price...

I didn't get the book but what I got is way more worthy than the two guide books.

Lenspen pro pack cleaning kit + EOS bag (now in my storeroom) + 4GB SDHC + Original LP-E5.

oh no no, i got a 450d already.. but just wondering what are the books giving out in the current promo.. see if its worth getting or not..

current px, (in case anyone reading this and wanting to get 450D) is at $1150 , i company a fren to AP 2 days ago and thats the price offered.. probably will give u a cheap $10 UV lens too.

I managed to get 2pcs Toshiba 8GB SDHC, Canon EOS camera bag, EOS 450D guide book, EOS Lens Book, screen protector, dry case and extra original battery. I agree that both the books just make you drool for more lenses and accesories but they are definitely very useful, informative and inspiring.

a sibei thick canon book, talks abt lens, history...blah blah...

2 bk lagi simple, talks abt lens n it accessories...

basically dis 2bks just make u wanna buy stuff lor..

I can lend it to u if u wanna to...

huh? got 3 books? i tot only 450d guide and a lens book only..

anyway can anyone gimme info on these books i go book store see can get or not.. probably not buying , just want to see and then decide..

I think the bag is more useful than the lens book.... the "Red" lens book is sitting on my bookshelf for a long time......

the EOS bag will become too small if you start upgrading your stuff, and there are so many available and nicer bags out there from like crumpler and lowepro, you will soon be tempted to shelf the EOS bag to one side ...

and why are ppl comparing the freebies they got ... they are just so many different packages out there with different freebies, so one may have gotten and extra CF card or dry cabi or tripod, but he may have paid more for the entire package. so no comparison here.

actually i posted this thread just wanted to know the infomation about the 2 books given during the promo this mth.. like whats the name, or a link to how it looks like.. the author....haha..

but seem until now i havent got this info except if i go to canon vivo to see it myself..

both the guide and the bag aren't very useful, there's a lot of info u can get on the net tht's helpful and you'll grow out of the tiny eos bag very quickly

confirm got ppl wanna sell it to u at a very cheapy price..
