I see it as a sort of insurance.
life is but a dream...
I've started off with 1 dry cabinet, and now got 2. The other is to keep the old negatives, photographs, certificates, and important documents.
Heh heh.....I do not have this problem/requirement. Located where I am the heat is 40C+ for 9 months of the year and humidity is less than 5%
hmm... what if you have aircon running at every night? does it still work?
hi, can check if the cabinet cost alot on electricity bill/consumption??
I m a newbie, too. I just bought my cam less than a week.
After reading all these comments, sounds like buying a dry cabi is a must... I will get one soon for a peace of mind.
hi, just gt my dry cabinet. Like to ask bros hw should I tune my dry cabinet cos I understand while the range for photographic equipment is 45%-55%, my room is reali pretty hot n stuffy.
Even with the dry agent, u also need to take out camera n len once a while to prevent the rubber part of the camera n len to dry up...
hey, anyone can advice on how much a dry cabinet cost? or better still cough out a link for online price.
thanks in advance!
