Default S5 Pro cheatsheet

Just wanna share something i happen to came across on the net. This piece of information will not be useful to people who actually reads the manual. But after looking at the questions new-adopters ask, I guess this might answer some of their questions. Just a note, this is not the final version yet.

Thanks Fotophilic for sharing the information.

I surfed the Flickr Discussion Page (http://www.flickr.com/groups/fujis5/...7613988203107/ ) that Fotophilic posted. The discussions and information is very helpful for newbie like me.

May be we can start a similar thread which gather all useful information about S5 Pro, or in this thread (Off course with reference - source of information).

What do u guys reckon?? Look forward to you guys' response.

Cheers,

(Do let me know if I have violated any CS's rules? thanks)
---------------------------
example as below:

Fuji iso accuracy test (http://www.flickr.com/groups/fujis5/...7613146844046/ ).

FLickr USer, Itinerant's comment based on the ( http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?a...33028891344612 ).

FinePix S5 Pro
Measured ISO was extremely close to the manufacturer ISO at all speeds, with a difference of a few points underexposure. At ISO 100, measured ISO is 95. At 200, it is 191 and remains consistent right up through the top ISO of 3200 (measured: 3160).

Seems to bear out how the s5 performs in practice, accurate exposure with a tendency to under-exposure.

What is more interesting is the summary of the Fuji s3

FinePix S3 Pro
Measured ISO for the S3 was the same as the manufacturer ISO for ISO's 100-400, and extremely close at ISO 800 (measured: 821). One of the best performances of all models tested.

Same sensor, but different processing algorithms.

The s3 is known for its more vibrant colors (the s5 users holy grail is finding the right combination to match the s3's colors). So, is this an indication of the tuning of the cameras?
