Default RE: Auto-Expand Distribution Lists in Outlook

    Hi, another IT related question.

I've a few distribution lists that I want to use in Outlook. However I want to be able to set it such that by default, once I type in the distribution list name, it will automatically expand to the constituent email names/addresses, without having for me to click on the plus "+" sign all the time.

Reason is that I use a keyboard with very little mouse. Hence if I need to use the mouse to click the plus "+", it slows me down a lot.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I read online that this code can do it - however I can't seem to get it to work - it doesn't show up as a macro I can run after I pasted it into the VB Editor in Outlook:

    ExpandList Item

    Code:
    This would expand all lists
     Sub ExpandList(Item As Outlook.MailItem)
        Dim intIndex As Integer, _
            olkRecipient As Outlook.Recipient, _
            olkNewRecipient As Outlook.Recipient, _
            olkAddressEntry As Outlook.AddressEntry, _
            olkMember As Outlook.AddressEntry
        For intIndex = Item.Recipients.Count To 1 Step -1
            Set olkRecipient = Item.Recipients(intIndex)
            Set olkAddressEntry = olkRecipient.AddressEntry
            Select Case olkAddressEntry.AddressEntryUserType
                Case olOutlookDistributionListAddressEntry, olExchangeDistributionListAddressEntry
                    For Each olkMember In olkAddressEntry.Members
                        Set olkNewRecipient = Item.Recipients.Add(olkMember.Name)
                        olkNewRecipient.Type = olkRecipient.Type
                    Next
            End Select
            olkRecipient.Delete
        Next
    End Sub
If someone can assist that will be greaat.
