just to let you know that MH-C9000 WizardOne Charger-Analyzer is similar to La Crosse Technology BC-900 AlphaPower Battery Charger, and it may be cheaper.

the are comparison reviews about this two chargers from the net.

yup, spent a bit of time reading up on both chargers.. (the la crosse is cheaper by the way)

the reasons why i went for the la crosse one..

    - as mentioned, its cheaper
    - half the size
    - easier to program
    - comes with 4 AA and 4 AAA batts (Maha comes with no batts)

true, the maha charger may be the more "powerful" charger in terms of specifications and options in charging and ability to revive "dead" batteries. but i figured, i dont really need all that charging "power", and i just need a charger to charge batteries for my flash, and something small that i can bring abroad on my holidays..

in this case, MH-C401FS suit you well, I bring this charger when I go travel

tho maha chargers seem very expensive, not to mention eastgear give very good after sale customer service. which is priceless.

thanks for the info! claiming warranty was a bit of a concern to me and i hesitated a bit before proceeding with the la crosse.. but in the end.. oh well..

will look into eastgear the next time i'm looking for a charger. cheers!

Hi guys, didn't wanna start a new thread so I thought I might ask here.

Funny how just 1 week ago I was recommending the Varta 15 Minute charger. Today, I find myself wanting more AA batteries. And having already had the charger, I was wondering if any of you have seen the 15-minute fast charge IC-3 batteries anywhere for cheap? By cheap I mean really cheap. Last I bought (which was quite some time ago) was from AP SLS, they were selling a 4-pack for $5, and I remember buying just 1 (which I regret now) coz I already have 2 sets of 4 then.

Now I'm thinking that I might want more because I'm also considering buying an MB-D10 for my D300. =)

    Anyone? Thanks!
