Insect HUNT @at Bt Batok NR on 28th-Feb

Hi all

Noticed (teebs) has captured nice insects at Batok nature rerserve.
So we are going there again on next Sat 28th-Feb.

We shall meet at Jurong Point 'New Wing' entrance where there is a cheapo Chicken Rice $2 directly facing the entrance.

According to 'teebs', bus 985 require some bus waiting time approx 20-25mins, as such we shall meet at JP and go together.

Time to meet: 8.30 to 8.45am
Gather around at: above mentioned
Place to shoot: Bukit Batok NR (near Ave 2/6)
Time spend: 3.5hrs (Leave the place B4 it get hotter)
Macro shooting for this time round (insects hunting)

yoz, you can take 174/178/157 from Boon Lay Interchange also. Stopped directly in front of the Nature Reserve.

174 is the fastest...

For those interested in shooting birds, squirrels & tree snakes, you can bring your zoom lenses along. Saw a couple of them during my short time there but didn't take any pics as I only brought along my Canon S3 & DCR250.

Those travelling by public transport and not staying in Boon Lay, you can meet us at Bukit Batok MRT Stn at 9am. We will be taking bus 985 from opp Bukit Batok MRT Stn.
