Default Testing a new lens.... help me check quality and sharpness?

I was testing out a new lens today..... would appreciate help in seeing if the quality and sharpness are ok. Both taken using the 300D..... Thanks in advance....

iso 400? no usm applied i suppose? image sharpness seems pretty fine. wat lens did u use?

100mm macro? Looks okay considering u were using ISO 800.

Quite Ok lar... not exactly very sharp. Hand held?

handheld the 100mm macro with Olympus B300 attached

no usm applied to any of the pics above.....

it's closer to f3.5.... the light loss is about 1/3-2/3 stop. just trying out the combo to see if the results are acceptable.... might get the Kenko Pro 300 1.4x to add on later.
