How can I get the PS effect?

Hi all, following image is created by a Taiwanese photographer, and I like it very much

, the tone of skin is so lovely, I spend few days and nights trying to create one similar, but failed.

I know there are a lot of professionals here, anyone could kindly give me some ideas on how to do it. Thank you so much!

maybe you can try using adobe lightroom 2 to adjust the color tone and clarity. Quite easy to use.

hi there... maybe u can elaborate more on the methods u have tried? That way i can probably see where u go wrong?

I cannot advise much without seeing your original pic too,
but i guess to achieve similar skin tone as ref pic, a simple way:
- using hue/saturation: bring down saturation for "yellow". U may want to bring down "master" saturation just a little abit.
- play with color balance to get the pinkish hue on the skin.
