MRT trains had been running along the new tracks to Pioneer MRT station and Joo Koon MRT station. They are now doing trial runs from Boon Lay MRT station to Joon Koon MRT. The Boon Lay Extension MRT Line is a 3.8-km fully elevated extension of the existing East West Line from the Boon Lay MRT Station. It starts from the existing viaduct overrun just beyond Boon Lay MRT Station, runs along Jurong West Street 63, Upper Jurong Road, International Road and terminates at Joo Koon Circle.

Thanks for the exciting shots. Indeed, I'm very excited because Pioneer MRT station is just a stone throw away from my flat. I gonna attend the open house on 21 Feb. Going to see what Joo Koon MRT station is like.

BTW, come 28 Feb which would be the first day of operation for the two new stations, at Boon Lay MRT you would definitely not going to find any seat available during peak hours because most of the Jurong West Extension residents would flock to Pioneer MRT station to catch the train. Good luck to those who are taking the trains at Boon Lay.
