hi all. someone on OS is doing an MO for the wonderful developer, diafine. check it out here.
a bit more expensive than normal developers, but oh so nice grain and sharpness. long lasting too. best used with tri-x, in my opinion. do check it out. |

i use rodinal too. carcinogenic? hmm didn't hear anything of it. diafine is a 2 solution developer (unlike rodinal which is a 'one shot' developer), tried it only once before a few years ago...long story. (short version is i found an old bottle under the sink) like a long lost love. its a very old developer...so i guess should be quite safe - would have been scrapped if there was a problem. of course, don;t eat it or anything.
mix into 2 solutions A and B. There's a good thred on OS detailing use of diafine, much more than i can remember. |

It's a Vitamin C (absorbic acid) based developer. Good thing about it is u can see your neg in 6 minutes time using tap water straight off.
Each gallon pack work out to $60, with the freight cost. Let me know if you need any (I'm the one doing the order on OS ) |
