Hi...
I am a total newby to dSLR. I have a D90 and I have been trying to figure out this wrap-around focus feature of the camera. But I tried every settings possible but the i can't seem to select end-to-end focus points.. According to the manual, if this feature is switched on, I am able to focus end-to-end. e.g left-most to right-most or top to bottom out of the 11 focus points. Get what I mean right?? Need advise from the seniors here.... Thank you. |

Is your 4-way selector "locked"? Check that the ring round it is not turned to the 'L' position.

It is the focus wrap-around feature in one of the menus.... according to the manual, when one end of the focus points is already selected, i can choose the other end so that focus is wrapped around from one end to the other...
My 4-way selector not locked, still cant select the other end. *when a focuspoint selected it lights up red, then according to instructions i press the 4-way selctor to select the other end... Guys u get what i am trying to say here right? Any one else encounter this? |

If the wrap-around is turned on, what you can do is just keep pressing in 1 direction (eg left), and watch the focus point move from right to left most, then back to right, to left most, repeatedly.

Hey Rafela,
You can't select the whole ROW of focus points. You can only select ONE manually or leave it up to the camera to select the relevant ones. What huggable has mentioned is correct. If say you are at the right-most focsuing point, pressing right again on the d-pad would being you to the left-most focusing point. I.e, your focus-point scrolling has "wrapped" back to the left, instead of stopping at the right.
