WAH! NICE! like them all. especially the fish head. tt is you got all the shots tt i've been trying 2 get. hahah.

if you don't mind sharing... what camera did you use, and how did you approach
a) the old lady at the corner coffesshop w the cats
b) the indian man at central w the cat?

Brinkwire, i use a Leica M6 with a nokton 35mm 1.4 lens.

Some of the shots i've used zone focusing.

For the shot of the lady with the cat i struck up a conversation with her and proceeded to snap away. Rapport with your subject is important imo..

For the shot of the man with the cat, i just squatted down in front of the cat and "conveniently" included the man in the frame.

That's about it!

hey!! thanks for sharing.

wow so u must hv been really close. yeah sometimes i try 2 do that too.. hahah... pretend i'm tkg pics of smth else like the cat.

funny.. i did hv a conversation with tt little old lady in my limited mandarin.. the problem is tt there were some suspicious younger ladies n men ard her too. lol. so made it difficult to take pics... heard some comments abt how young ppl nowadays so rich 2 buy cams.. when mine was only $150 hahah o well

Maybe I should try communicating with my subjects ahahah, too bad I don't know any second language
