Default Friday 13 Night Macro

Twas a chilly night but more than 10 DSLR wielding men bash through the night in search of bugs and insects. The thought of Jason could be lurking in the forest did not come into anybody's mind at that time and infact, Jason was among us.

Here are my takes for the night. Didnt actually came for macro, more of Owl hunting actually. Anyone know the namesof these spiders?

Big Wolfspider

Small Spider (as small as a match head)

Witness a Kill on Friday 13. The spider is tiny and was hanging on a thread and kept swinging around with the breeze. Very difficult to lock focus till my eyes nearly pop out.

Is that a moulting spider? Nice meeting all the brothers in the forest.

There was simply too many of us that night that I didnt get to know you all. I was the last to enter and the 2nd last to leave. Next time we should do a proper introduction.

My setup is 40D + 25mm tube + Tamron 90mm + DIY Difusser

Thanks guys. After being addicted to birding, hardly shoot any Macro. So once a while need to shoot to keep macro mechanism lubricated. Feeling rusty already.
