Default Help needed: Information on I-USB7 Cable for Pentax Z10

    Hi there,

Was asked by a friend in Europe to look for this "usb cable" for Optio Z10. It has a part number I-USB7 according to the manual. I understood it is the same cable used for many other pentax models.

Can owners of these cameras using I-USB7 check for me if this is just a standard USB cable or a Pentax specific? I see from the downloaded manual that the same usb like connection seems to be used for video transfer using the video cable too.

Appreciate any help here. Thanks !

The cable should be a generic one.

The same on-camera connection is also used to view images/video on television. For viewing on television, I use the same cable for K10D and panasonic camera.

Not all Pentax camera using the same USB cable but most of them are using the I-USB7 .

Or you can get a SD card reader to transfer the pictures to your pc.
