Default About Lenses

Hi Guys

Have been using a D60 for some time now with a standard stock 50mm 1.8 ..
The manual focusing is fine but now it's becoming a hassle when shooting fast moving objects..

What do you recommend for an Auto Focus lens to be used on a D60?
Any 2nd hand ones?

for the D60 u need AF-S lenses which will allow for autofocusing.
have a look at the B&S section, looking for any AF-S lenses.

good luck

I suggest u change to D80 or D90 ba...
Nikon has lots of great AFD lens. It is a waste if you cant use them.

Talking Re: About Lenses

3 suggestions to check out:-

nikkor af-s 50/1.4
nikkor af-s 35/1.8
sigma 35/1.4 dc hsm

all of the above will AF with your D60...they ain't cheap, so you might want to consider an alternative which is to upgrade your D60 to (1) a used D80 (cheaper option) OR (2) a D90...with the motor built into the camera itself, you will have a far wider choice of lenses to look at...with both aforementioned camera bodies, your AF-D 50/1.8 will AF

i just moved from the D40 to the D90 and am very happy for the fact that my AF-D 50/1.8 will now AF...so much less hassle than MF (i'm a lazy git )

hope this is helpful

when did sigma have a 35mm HSM ?
is 30mm F1.4 HSM...

i'm using a d40, won't mind buying auto-focus lens.

there is also another selection from sigma, 50mm F1.4 HSM.
