How much did you paid for the Kodak? Is the battery expensive? It looks like a Nokia 8000 series handphone battery (from steves-digicams.com) Thank you |

I was also considering the 6490, but nothing beats Z1 for its ultra-fast AF and start-up time as well as hi-quality MPEG video. Noticed that it takes 4 sec to switch on the Kodak. Also, no hotshoe means flash-handling will be quite a hassle (need flash brackets - btw, does using the PC connector support TTL flash metering? I guess not). Also, read that charging needs to be done on the cradle. So if you travel overseas, you need to bring the cradle around. So silly!
But good points are higher mp, larger LCD screen, more intuitive controls IMHO (jog dials for mode selections), and more classic design compared to Z1. |
