    Started out with primes; 35mm, 50mm, 100mm. Never missed any shots but need to work (walk) slightly more. I like them as they are generally fast, light and sharp.

    Dammit.. what am I talking.. come to think of it, I do use my 100mm prime 90% of the time

    woww, are you serious? 100mm , 90% of the time? in digital format?? is it even possible? too tight in my opinion.

    How does spending more money on a lens make u a better photog. Was that what the shop salesman told you ?

    If you really want a prime perspective, get ur zoom and fix it at a particular focal length and shoot at that all day lor.

    did you miss shots? how many prime lens you have? what are they?
    Why should it bother me? It's just a tradeoff. Better image quality and brighter lens for flexibility.

    Shots can be missed from time to time, but unless you carry a dim 18-200 do-it-all lens all the time, zoom users can miss shots too.

    Could say exclusively, because the only zoom I'll probably use is the kit lens.
