Default Nikon Capture NX 2 Noob Qs

when shooting a model indoor using built in flash...the model face turn white. how should i remedy in NX 2? turning colour balance to more yellow?

And any other tips of editing using nx 2? or should i juz follow the photoshop sticky? should be about the same rite?

My view is colour balance issues is better tackled in NX than in PS. However, mixed colour balance issues should be optimally tackled in both NX (colour adjustment) and PS (layering).

Best to post your photo for analysis.

If you are shooting NEF or RAW, there is still a possibility for you to recover the photograph by lowering the exposure value in CaptureNX software by EV-1 or more.
