Default A frst try at wedding photography...

Well, here are the goods. It was a definite learning experience for me. Very tiring, but really rewarding when you see the happiness of the couple (esp when they r yr good friends) on their special day.

Must thank all you guys who gave me heaps of tips and advices. Think I would probably have if not for some of them.

Please feel free to be honest with the pics here. Hopefully I can improve the next time.

Rest of the shots here

Hi Gremlins........ good stuff! But for some shots I think u need tighter crops......

Comments:
Shot 11, should crop off the people on the right....
Shot 17 looks 1/2 stop under.......

But I'll be very happy if I can get this quality when it's my turn..........

Need some tips from u regarding exposure settings......

Shot 13, did u use flash? Bounced or bounce card? How far were u from the scene?

Shot 15, again was flash used? The exposure looks very clean.. no hotspots..... any post-processing? Settings?

Shot 31, again was flash used? I think so given the shadows on the right but did u use a bounce card? Settings?

Thanks TME for your comments. Will take note of them
For all the shots you mentioned, I used flash. I attached an omnibounce and angled it up to the ceiling. For shot 13 I was about 1.5 to 2 m away.

Most of the daytime pics I shot using P mode And I performed some auto levelling and sharpening of the pics. You can actually see the exif info on each pic... just click on the "Full Exif" link below each pic.

hey gremlin congrats on ur first shoot!!

u know i was there (had a friend getting married remember) but she was just further down at the lawn! i shoulda gone over to u and said hi but it didn't occur to me at that time that u were there, even tho u had posted the thread and we spoke thru PM.

think u woulda been to busy and stressed to say hi to me anyway! hehehe

btw.. just a funnee note, i actually went to that wedding that u photographed thinking it was my friend's (since i didn't know anyone except the bride) so everyone looked strange to me anyways...

wonder how many pple wandered into ur friend's wedding that were actually from mine? ehhehe

anyway ur shots are great.. keep it up!
