Default Henderson Wave Spider




was testing out a vintage lens that i acquired recently.. tamron 80-210mm f3.8/4.. a way fantastic lens ahead of its time.. do pardon the oof.. muscle VR failing me + lens heavy + hi-angle shoot = shakey and OOF picture.. did my best already.. do comment and ID the spider.. i've like seen 3 or 4 of em during my day there..

I believe this is a Batik Golden Web Spider (Nephila antipodiana).

but i thought they have no red joints at all? their legs are supposed to be all black. =/

Yah, you are correct. I have done more research and it looks more like a Madagascar Golden Orb Weaver (Nephila inaurata madagascariensis)
