Limit on number of replies

Might I suggest there be a limit on the number of replies per thread, after which the thread is closed by a mod? If I had a to suggest a figure I'd say 200 or thereabouts. Some of them have reached 400+ (and that's just recently) which frankly I think is ridiculous as it impacts on the creation of new threads, some of which may be more interesting to other members.

most threads outside Kopitiam hardly reach till few hundreds replies, and the max replies in kopitiam is 1000 posts, after which, it will be locked by the thread starter, and start a new season of chit chat thread.
