If you really want to do night photography, try to invest on a tripod. It is really a need.
#1 and #2 - Underexposed. #3 - Good #4 - Blown out and Blurred. Use the Rule of 8 as a start and you should be able to get your exposure right. Try to change your WB to Auto or shoot using RAW, then tweak the WB to get the effect you wanted. Just another advice, try not to use VIVID or SATURATION +1 for your setting especially in Night Shooting. It tends to boost your orange and red too much. Just my thought.

#1 + #2 I would lower shutter speed by about 1/2 stop. That will have the dual effect of 1) more exposure and 2) smooth out water surface and reflections. Tripod necessary. I like all of them, and actually quite like the "warm" colors. #4 needs smaller aperture.

That is why try to play around with the WB to achieve the feel that you want.

Your WB seem off, also the pics does not seem sharp.
Also tripod is very essential for night shots unless you are trying some arty shots. The esplanade colour is off, similar for the orchard road shots. I am not sure if you can see from my facebook upload. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/p...1&id=520584028 Forgot to add more constructive advise. Try a few WB setting, do not leave it to Auto, as the camera many at times get confuse from what the photographer see and its' own judgement. For scenery shots, there are usually plentiful of time to get the shots again. Once you are sure of your camera settings, shooting oversea, you get better results where there is lesser of opportunity for errors.

Another way is to shoot in RAW then apply the WB settings on the computer.
