Nice meeting Richard & Nicky tat day who spotted the first cocoon. Went back on day 2 but the cocoon had hatched. Sighted another cocoon nearby & went back again on day 3 and was able to witness and capture the hatching process.

Woooo ! Very nice shots ! How long did you have to wait for the whole process ? An how you estimate what time the of the day the hatching process will begin ?

Thks....actually this was my first encounter & capturing of the cocoon hatching. Met butterfly shifu Richard & Nicky who spotted the cocoon. He shared his vast knowledge on the various species, behaviour & also details on the butterfly cocoons as well. With these info, I was only able to captured the hatching process on the 3rd day.
