This picture really disturbs me if I am the bride or someone related. The composition is off and its really bad to just cut off near the neck area of the bride. Exposes more probably the up to the chest level will be fine and show more on the right side as the left is too empty... definitely not centre....

Thanks for the comment. I'm sorry that it disturbs u, but i think such a composition is quite common i thought. Even half faces compositions are shown in this subforum as well. But anyway, thanks again. This picture was taken and shown to the client straight after and they liked it.

Just some suggestion, couldnt you had clone her face abit so that her complexion will be better? and did u cropped the photo in PS or was it taken this way.. maybe if her eyes are shown fully, it will be nicer (instead of being cutted half way).. her expression might have more impact then... IMO... |

Hahhaa, I didnt think of them being offended,
Thanks for the email, (bookmarked your site already).. I have some tips for you rdging 2nd shoot. Because of the whiteness of veils and gowns, alot of times they are overexposed and hence no details. What could be done is.. brushing a layer of black over it, and setting the black to overlay.. lower the opacity to say.. 20%? Normally more details can be seen.. no offend, its just what i would had done to have more details in the photo... then again, maybe its a old trick that everyone here knows.. >.<! no offend! |
