Default Astrophotography: MTO or Telescope?

I was wondering at the resolutions of the MTO 1000mm f10 mirror lens vs the Celestron Astromaster 1000mm f9 reflective telescope. Which would be better for astrophotography? As in, giving better detail and such? Thanks!

in my opinion, both are too slow for astrophotography. At F9 / F10 you cant really do much other then use them for the moon. and perhabs with some luck . planets. but at the focal ratio. they are generally too slow for any deep sky imaging.

I have a C90mak 1250mm f13 with EQ1 mount. For Moon & Planetry should be ok. But for Deep Sky a bit of problem. You may need a proper EQ mounting if posible with motor drive for a descent tracking of your objects because it will very long exposure. And additional you may need a focal reducer to shorten your exposure time.

So before you purchase, ask yourself basically for what purpose. For moon & planetry or for Deep sky objects?
