I apologize for creating a new thread under a new nick. But I really want to say something.
I am not sure if anyone will read this other than chngpe01, but here goes. I do try to be responsible in my postings online all the time as I post my wife's photos, my baby's photos, my HP number so this is hardly an anonymous account. SO I want to rebute some of Chngpe01's points. So here goes.
http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=472692 I just removed the references to Obama and the thread seems ok. People comes in and have a calm discussion about economics. But YET the Simranjits guys STILL comes in and says the thread is political. Does it mean u will close the thread? As a moderator I do believe u have to look at WHICH posts are political and act accordingly. If the TS starting post is political, u should close it. But if some joker comes in and make it political, u should go after the joker not the TS and close his thread. THIS IS MY MAIN GRIPE.
I am asking, where in my posts are there political stuff? I have read my posts quite a number of times and I really do feel that the main point of my post is about Obama's economic policy. This forum is entitled FEEDBACK. if one close a thread without even giving the other party a chance to reply, what is the point of even bothering to explain your actions? Is CS such a authoritarian forum that the "moderators are ALWAYS right?" Obviously, u are not concerned about whether the other guy has a point or not. the thing is, like it or not, it is not really any of the mod team's fault, most of them are not the root of the trouble. so you are throwing your tantrum at the wrong people. there is no need to take it so personally. it's just a forum.. if you cannot discuss what you want, then find another place and time to do it, and talk about what you like to talk about here, except that. ![]() just chill, dude.. life's not all about having the last word. i would like to have an open environment where we can all talk about anything and everything under the world maturely; but in general and from past experience it will never come to anything positive. in an "open" forum, logic doesn't often prevail - less so when people think that they can post anonymously and get away with anything and everything. cheers, and relax. that said, i do hope that the mods do not ban you again because frankly speaking, perhaps you have had a bad day, or accumulated unhappiness.. and when it comes to troublemaking, there are far more deserving members. |
