    Sorry for the late reply.

I went to SLS and a few shops in SG, don't have.
One shop toldme no one is selling this model yet.
    Emailed the distributor, never reply.
Called the distributor, 1st question they asked me where I got the number from (from the website, DUH..), they say will call me back regarding my enquiry, never.
So I bought from an overseas website instead.

Oh, they do sell the Qstarz Q1300 in SG. But the MTK chipset is the 1st version, and battery life is shorter, so I didn't get it.

Just tested the fix, 15 secs in a moving tax i -- with AGPS, not on for the previous 12 hrs.
Battery live is 38 hrs for a 2 wk old device -- I left the device on and carried it with me where ever I went.

Interesting, as according to the website it's mtkII... How would you know if it's mtkI or mtkII??? Is there something on the actual device to say it's gen 1 or 2?

But the batt does not last long - it's enough for around 12 to 16 hours only. It died once during the trip...

u referring to the QstarZ BT-Q1000X?

    BT-Q1000X is MTK2, BT-Q1000 is MTK1.
I tested the batt for the 1000X, it lasts 38 hrs.
Not sure about the older version.

    Actually I meant BT-Q1300 Nano. :P

But looks like the 1000X has more batt power, but if you compare the size, not surprising there.
