Hello Guys
Hope you guys know the market price well and could advise me a good price to sell my F90x+MB10+MF26+SB28+Tamron 28-200. As a total package, how much do you all think I can get? I am running out of cash and I am thinking of upgrading to 10D. Do you all pros think I should keep a film camera for backup, or switch everything to Canon? I know it is a tough decision to make. I am a leg in Nikon and a leg in Canon and do not know what to do. :P I am in a dilemma. Please let me hear some good advice. Thank you all nice people out there. |

IMHO, if you've been a Nikon user, stick to Nikon. jumping to Canon doesn't make sense unless you got compelling reasons, cos you will lose quite a substantial amt of $$$ in selling and buying new stuff. e.g. if you get a S2 Pro, you can still use your SB28 and 28-200.
my 2 cents. in all honesty, both systems have pros and cons, so pls do your research carefully first before biting the bullet. don't be swayed by the 10d/300D craze... |

No offence, if you mentioned that you already OWNED some Nikon stuffs, I would have definitely advised you to get the D100 instead.
But now since your mind is made up. It's up to you. I just find it a hassle to change camp. |

Yah boy. Sound like does not make sense hor.
Maybe I should go for D100 instead to save up for some good lense. I don't have to buy another zoom again since I already have one and flash too. Can SB28 be used on D100? I am not sure my Tamron 28-200 is a D-lense or not because there is no matrix metering display in the viewfinder(metering only shown on the panel on top for 90x). Only thing about D100 is, it is about $300 more exp than 10D, I guess. Thanks, guys. |

- no you can't use the SB28 on the D100, except on Auto or Manual mode. but the Auto mode is fairly wonky... i've tried it before. not v accurate. but strangely enough, the non-DX flashes works on the S2 Pro, which is why i suggested getting that instead. - which version is your Tamron 28-200? i think it should be a D lens, unless it's the much older version. - i think the price diff between 10D and D100/S2 Pro is less than that now, cos they dropped pricing from 10D's low launch price. best to check that out at CP/AP. |

should stick to Nikon since u r already a happy user.
if i m wrong about the "happy" part, switching will cost a bomb when considering the lenses besides the body u need to buy. stick to nikon. |
