having a better camera makes other people think you are a better photographer

only the image matters, any camera that let you take good pictures is a good camera

Default How do we improve photographic skills?

Sorry if I annoy some people with this repeated post. Didn't know many have discussed the man/machine topic. I don't have any other intentions, other than to hear out people's opinions regarding this matter.

THanks for forwarding some links here. Yup, that aside. Let's now discuss on what you think is best to improve skill?

Maintain an open mind and willing to experiment, and see more of how others make or break the shot and come up with ideas.. one reason why I love to see how other people take their shots on photo forums.

And be abit more self critical

So at the end of the day it is:-

    1) Determined by the photographer, subject to
    2) The limitations of the camera.

This means that Assuming Camera can perform up to Level 10, then it depends on what level the photographer is, up to level 10.
    - If Photographer is level 2, then the photos will turn out to be level 2.
    - If Photographer is level 15, then the photos will turn out to be level 10, since the last 5 levels the camera or lens does not have the capacity to perform.
