How long your battery last on S5?

Just wondering how many shots are you able to get based on a fully charges battery.

If I want to get a BG, will it be MB200 used on the Nikon D200? With BG, how much more can it last?

I am using the MB200 on my S5Pro..with 2 batteries...during the early stages when I was still using only 1 battery on the camera...the battery seems to deplete rather fast...compared to my former camera D40X...battery bar start to drop rather fast..

But after using an extra battery with the grip...I find that it can last much longer significantly...can't really remember how many shots as I dun really count...

I believe you're using both original batteries for the MB200?
for the BG, is there a dedicated charger (plug in) for it or we need to remove the batteries to charge?

Yup...I am using original batteries for S5Pro...ordered from FujiFilm at $69/-. We need to remove the batteries from the grip for them to be charged as per normal. The grip is great...except that my camera bags are not able to fit anymore...haha

Mine can go 500-550 RAF shots per charge when I use a manual focus lens.

I'm getting around 450 per batt per charge... but noticed that if the batts are freshly charged, and I shot an event till I completely depleted the batt, I could get up to almost 600 shots out, assuming only minimal flashing from the on-board pop-up.

Just go directly to the green building at Paya Lebar. No need to pre-order. They should have it in stock.

Otherwise, you can order from MS Color and self-collect from the store.

U need to pre-order, unless they have stock. TO play safe, it is good to call Fujifilm HQ.

I called MS Color, and was told cannot order " as it is no longer coming in". Different treatment to customers from MS Color huh? Not surprised.

Ya...it was in early Dec...MS Colour told me they only had 3rd party batts at half the price...but I wasn't interested...there was another discussion thread on the battery issue on CS where the others got the original batteries from Fuji...but need to order..seems stocks limited...

Called them directly and placed an order...took abt a week...

Laterly got this battery problem... Fully charged battery it will indicated tat its low batt...had to remove the battery n install it again...Anyone got this problem? I am not using the VG... thxs

so far haven't encounter this prob. heng ar.

but i do encounter batt that dun last as long as original despite being rated higher. cheapo marketing i guess.

shouldn't it be standard? So Florence will be the busiest woman in the shop. Everyone looking for her.

If I was not wrong, the "kah kia" consulted the 3rd generation relative prior to his reply to my question.

The advice from a sales personnel from a reputable camera shop: "Buy the battery before buying the camera" seems to be a wise one after all. I had placed an order with Fujifilm 3 weeks ago and still no sound no picture on the battery. Can cry man.

Indeed she is. Those who buy from MS Color regularly will look for her directly instead of others.
