frankly speaking, politicians are supposed to work for the ppls.
ppl judge you by the amount of work you hv done for the ppl and not the amount of talking session..

Ya Shame on the guy who throw the shoe.

Cowardly for him to do that in Britian, where he knows he won't be jailed - unlike the guy in Iraq.

Nope, if convicted, he is going to jail.

I am truly amazed by that kind of graceful society act!

Come to think of it, the cambridge guy in that kind of prestigious campus could only resort to that kind of action to another country's leader? China is doing his business to keep how many stomachs filled, nothing to with him. All he cares about is shouting some non-filling stomach propaganda used in the history?

The Iraq guy got 15 years! And in British, max is 6 months, and I am sure he's going to get only a few days of free lodging and food...and we have not compared the conditions of prisons in Iraq vs those in British.

15 if charged for assault, lesser if charge for insult.

    So?

Sentencing would be different. I would expect Iraq to have overbearing harsh punishment.

Unless, the shoe did hit Wen Jiabao face, and cause actual harm to him, I would think a warning would be sufficient. Sending someone into jail just be cause he throw a shoe is ridiculous.

Good lord. Now china is even trying to make a cheap knock-off of insults?

In islam, throwing your shoe at someone is one of the gravest insults possible. It has no meaning in china other than "These fake shoes stink!!"
