no, it should state item sold and thread locked. however, not all sellers are doing that now.

the threads remain can use for future reference, eg price guild....

Ideally, the seller/buyer who start the thread should make a post on the latest update regarding the sales, and also close the thread subsequently.

Its also better that the thread is not deleted so that it can be used as a future reference for other sellers/buyers to know the estimated pricing and also if the items are previously bought from/sold by if its sold multiple times.

is it possible for the implementation of thread expiry date for the WTS or WTB posts, like if the user does not maintain or "upz" the thread within a reasonable amount of time like 3 days or so, we auto lock the thread, that will make it very obvious if someone is posting and reposting the thread again and again without maintaining the thread.
