Not bad lah... I was there too... saw alot of Pros with RED & Gold rings on their lens

I know quite hard to chope place there... easiest method is to bring a ladder with you or use the LiveView on your 1000D...

very good pics. Still need to go early? It's already been on quite a few days. I would of thought that it would be less crowded by now.

Only cropping and some WB mods...of cos only posting the nice ones lah...quite a few were overexposed cos the dancers were moving here and there so i really do not have the time to change my settings. I was shooting mostly on F2.8/3.2 @ 1/60/80 ISO 200/400. It was a good experience! I had an external flash but decide against using it cos the stage was directly under a glass roof with ample sunlight ( was 4.00 pm ) and plus the stage lightings i thought it should be good enough for the 50mm 1.8 to capture @ 1/60. Thks for all the nice comments! It's encouraging!!!

Very nice pictures.Do not feel belittle by others 'pro' equipment just be yourself
and shoot.Take me for instance am still shooting film and I do not feel backward
among the digital users.Just be yourself and the end results counts.

Very good set of photographs

I was there today with my "cheapo" setup (out of date Pentax *istDL with 55-200 F4/5.6)
I was shooting around the same angle as you. Similiar I have a same shot as your #1 except mine is a close up. I shoot in raw and somehow I use PS Elements to set the WB to Auto and it sort of turn the picture bluish.

Can view some of my samples at http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/sh...2211162&page=8
(post #109).

Hi CS! Saw ur pics from ur link and i must admit they look a little blueish. One of the reason i decided not to use flash that day cos seeing that there's sufficient light , I hope to shoot under actual conditions so as to bring out the natural colours and also effects of the stage lightings itself. I did some of my WB adjustments under custom settings so that i can achieve as natural colours as possible. Nice shots though!!! Just my 2 cents hehehe.....
