Was meeting my friend today at Raffles City..
Saw some performances by Nanjing Acrobatics Troupe. Very nice & impressive performance. Would like to share some shots. C&C are welcome. Thanks. pic 1: ![]() pic 2: ![]() pic 3: ![]() |

You have captured the moment better than mine shots. A higher viewpoint and longer lens will be better... I think

Ha ha.. ya lor.... Isn't it also one of the important factor to become a good photographer? Skilled in dealing with sensitive matters or people also very important in customer relationship ler..
![]() I shoot with both. Personally i feel that compose with EVF is much efficient in this kind of situation. I tried to compose with LCD, somehow it's hard for me to react & follow the subject. Frankly speaking, i feel "G1 + kit lens" can shoot but it's not the proper tool to shoot stage performance. DSLR with proper setup are still the best. I mainly use G1 for street & candid due to it's tilting LCD, weight & excellent AF with LCD. Hope my answer clear your doubt. Last edited by DaXiong; 4th February 2009 at 11:57 PM. |

Curious, is the refresh rate of the EVF & LCD the same? Is there a lag when you are shooting with the LCD?

Both LCD & EVF refresh rate are both OK for me. What kind of lag are you refering to? Shuter lag ?

so far so good... i never feel any significant lag due to refresh lag. But it might be base on my standard. It would be good for u to try it personally at camera shop. Go to Cathay Photo, the salesman there are friendly. Highly recommended shop.
