First Gathering (J.P 600+) 07-Feb-09

Hi Everyone Happy CNY

Finally, I have compiled and set the date for our first photography outing. (Weekend- Sat)
Thks for all your response and support shown. Appreciated V.much

Date = 07th-Feb-2009
Place/Venue = Admiralty Park
Meeting area = Outside the Sakura Resturant (Entrance to Admiralty Pk)
Meeting Time = From: 09.30 to 09.45am (If you are late, we are inside the bushes)
How to go (See below)

I have just came back this afternoon after a good look around.

a) Those from Jurong point :
Take MRT to Jurong East Station -> change Centre train to Wooland 'NS9' -> then
take a bus No. 903 from the Bus interchange which is beside the Woodland MRT station.

Bus 903 is a Loop service, you count 2 bus stop and alight infront of Replubic Poly and you will see 'Sakura Restaurant". If you prefer to walk, it is only 10-14 mins from Woodland MRT to the park.(Estimate 50mins travel fm JP).


b) For those who are driving -> Park your car at the 'North Entrance' along (Admiralty Road), It's a FREE car parking lots. But if you park at Sakura Resturant entrance, it is chargeable.

c) If it is raining on this date (07-Feb-09), then we will call off the outing automatically.
(I hope Sunshine).

Remember to bring along a bottle water for drinking, Tripod, small umberalla (incase passing rain), Flash lamp, extra battery is have.

Any theme for this gathering?? or we just gonna shoot the scenary and each other??? that's a really huge group you put together man~~ I should be attending if nothing crops up heee

The theme : Actually planned to be: 'My Tiny World" cos on Macro shooting.

Actually I never use tripods for my macro shots. Find it more of a burden than anything...

I am unable to confirm if I can go on Sat as I might have something on but I might make a trip there one of the weekdays this week to see if there is anything interesting to shoot there.

Since you have gone there to recce, are there any interesting insects to shoot?

Yea.... quite alot of insects. Someone posted a wolf-spider not long ago.

I captured a handfull some 3 mths ago.
