Since I started photography, I have developed a keen interest on various door knobs and knockers.
This is my first ever door shot which led to many more from every place I have traveled or visited.

Spark from the Sky

Was on a shooting trip at Singapore Flyer, halfway thru the ride, rainstorm broke out. The group ended up chasing lightning. I was one of the 2 lucky ones who got a cool shot of the lightning hitting CBD.

Vivo City 2nd Anniversary Fireworks

First ever successful shoot on fireworks theme. Thanks to people around me and information online, I might to get some decent shots of the display. Still need a lot of training on this subject, but need to wait for opportunities

Whole Family in Prayers, Grandma Blows Nose

Finding it deeply touching yet funny when I compose this picture, I trust the whole family is praying for health especially for the aging grandma, yet she is blowing her nose.

Sentosa Sunset

While waiting for the fireworks, the evening sky put up a nice color display. Using my 12-24 UWA lens for the first time, immediately fell in love with it. Now, it is my default lens for narrow street shots or super landscape.

Jesus in Suffering

Story Behind the Pix
As I pick up this hobby, I learnt that I prefer no-flash photography, or you can call it ambient light photography. Thus, it is always a challenge to play out the scene in places with a good shot but low light level. This is one of my more satisfied shots where the low ambient light and existing spotlight gave a great highlight on the statue.

This is Amarante, a small town outside Oporto. It was a beautiful late autumn day with a very calm Rio Tamega. Bracketed this shot and HDR it to get the superb reflection of the bridge on the calm river.
