Default Solar Eclipse

I din have the black polymer sheet initially and decided to go to Singapore Science Centre to check out but the shop is close. Then I saw got queue and its for the free eclipse viewing glasses and the telescope thing. I got the free glasses and modified it for my 58mm lens but alas I forgot about the zoom and the whole thing is not well made. I rush home and use it on my compact A570IS. Its bit hard to spot and thus accidental look directly to the sun for a few times. Now I am feeling the effect, eyes pain and headache. Lesson learned though. Around 5.05pm, I got the first sign of the eclipse but when its about 5.30pm dark clouds starts to strode, by 5.45pm I can see its almost finishing the full eclipse. I manage salvage one big original piece that left uncut and stick on my spectacles , one side only and see the full eclipse. Due to the cloud and weak ray, my compact cam could not capture it and I use the DSLR with lens and polariser and shoot , ahhh my eyes again. End of story. Photo upload later. I got pounding headache now

I rush home to take the eclipse. Thus all the stuff strewn around the floor.
