Settings: Aperture piority (2.8-3.5), ISO (200-500) with auto flash.
DSLR: Canon 1Dmk3

Hmmm.....to me, all the pics are over-exposed.
The dancers' faces are too 'white', abit 'scary' sia.

I prefer mine to be of lesser brightness, the colour can later be altered using PS.

Lovely shots from the TS... if I am not wrong two different cameras is used right?

Different monitor might have different brightness and contrast settings. If most of the photos in internet appear over-exposed on your monitor, your monitor might have higher brightness than average users. Of course you might have preference for dimmer photos.
FYI, your pics in flickr look dim and yellowish on my monitor.

I agree. They looked under-exposed and with too much red and yellow colour cast as if taken in a dimly lit room.

Cos, those are the original pics taken with the spotlights. I can easily adjust the color tones using PS.
What I mean is most of the pics do not show the natural skin tone color of the dancers, I don't believe they put makeup on their arms.

Strange... the #2 photo seem taken by a 450D?

Even the EXIF shows that it is from the camera too...
