A Call for Photo Submission - “Rare Finds of Singapore”

Have you lots of photos of the local, disappearing and rare flowers, plants, insects and animals? Have nowhere to showcase them? Now here’s your chance to show them off to the world!

The Night Safari Volunteer Rangers (NSVRs) and Fragile Forest Station (FFians) of the Singapore Zoological Gardens Docents (SZG Docents) will be co-organising a photo exhibition entitled “Rare Finds of Singapore”. The objective of this exhibition is to highlight the native flora and fauna around us that often goes unnoticed. It is hoped that this effort through photography will help highlight the beauty and fragility of Singapore’s native wildlife. We also hope to generate more interest in the richness of the flora and fauna found around us, so that more people will learn to appreciate and care more for their survival.

Selected photographs will be displayed at the East Lodge in the Night Safari during the year-end school holidays when local visitor-ship is higher.

If you are interested, application forms are available here:

Alternatively, if you are visiting the Zoo/Night Safari during the weekends, application forms can be obtained from the various Docent stations.
