    Personally buy what and when you need it... the price of digital camera would drop in time.. My advise is if you don't need the feature, don't buy first.

    Typically a newly launch dslr would drop about 10% in price after a 8 ~ 12 month period...

    Good thinking. The IQ of G1 shot in RAW with the right lens can produce pictures better than 450D. And with the new lineup of lens coming of this year, It sure is a stealer.

    Really? This is the first time I heard that the IQ of G1 is better than the 450D....

    I assume you are not talking about high ISO IQ coz 4/3 sensor are generally more noisy than a APS-C sesnor...

    In RAW it's quite good:

    And it performs well at higher ISO too:

    (but not as good as a 450D, though only by a small margin)
