The saying goes... Good Boys go to heaven Bad Boys go to Amsterdam... some photos taken during my recent trip to Amsterdam. Of my 6 days there only 2 days were sunny, the rest were dark and gloomy
#1 - While the windmill is synonymous to Holland, the human-powered 2-wheeler is synonymous to Amsterdam ![]() #2 - the famous flower market, specializes in tulips and.... Weed... yes marijuana ![]() #3 -Canal and building architecture that define the city ![]() #4 - a different perspective of boat, canal and old buildings (I just love the architecture). These buildings are mostly 4 storeys high and are without lift. imagine you live on the top floor and have to walk up the staircase with your groceries... phew ![]() #5 - location of this photo is the middle of the Red Zone (red light district). The swans, gulls and ducks swimming in the canal is one of the reasons I walked 4km from my hotel to this area ... the other reason is window watching the "meat" available on sale... ![]() Last edited by bblurrr; 23rd January 2009 at 12:14 PM. |
