i am also interested to know about this flash.

may i know if you have explore all function, say using it as master or slave? and also, which system are you using? thanks.

when on hot shoe, does it include the crop factor?

does it takes the battery pack from the original brand?

For the offshoe flash, as stated "flash will synchronize with the master flash placed on your camera. This wireless remote flash system is called slave flash technology" is using optical but the works only with on board TTL flash, meaning no manual flash mode to be set on the onboard flash. (studio trigger cannot be used)
Make it simple, the flash can use it as master not mode need to set on the flash, as slave just set the flash to slave mode.

when on hot shoe, does it include the crop factor?

on the specification" Illumination angle Digital lens : 16mm (14mm with wide angle diffuser)
    by zooming reflector to - 18 - 24 - 35 - 47 - 57 - 70mm
Traditional lens : 28mm (20mm with wide angle diffuser)
    to - 28 - 35 - 50 - 70 - 85 - 105mm "

does it takes the battery pack from the original brand?

on the specification "Power source 4X LR6 or equivalent Mi-MH, lithium, oxyride batteries "

Not sure does that answer your questions?
For offshoe part, best to test out on your own to see if its suitable for you.

    1) sorry, my english not powerful, so does that means it will detect if it is mounted on a crop factor body and do the adjustment?

    2) i mean battery pack like CP-E2, E3, E4.

    3) wah, cannot like that one mah! buy than test, if cant do what i want than sell? must clarify all doubt 1st, than buy mah. dont want to be like many newbies here, buy 1st, ask later.

anyway, like i said, i have asked my questions in the other thread, which i feel is more apropreate. dont want to hijack this thread.

    Hi all,

Nissin Di622 works as a master/slave. Just tested it out few hours back, can work off-shoe,as i mounted it on my tripod. Once it becomes off-shoe flash, its in mannual mode, meaning flash power is set on how much you want. No more TTL function once its Off-shoe flash. But able to trigger iff without commander mode, your on board flash must be on TTL then it can act like a "wireless Trigger".

Overall quite happy with the performance

    Cheers

haha sorry for the confusion ppl, what i'm trying to say is that TTL only works when your flash is mounted on the camera hot-shoe.

Once its Off-shoe(slave mode) it is in full mannual control,so TTL don't work off-shoe.

The pre-flash from your built in flash will trigger off the Slave flash (nissin Di622)
