Post the pic for you..

IHMO.. the slant is too much.. I have to tilt my whole head to see what's going on..
Selective coloring is passe. If you look at the works of the gurus here, you can see that no one uses selective coloring anymore. You can try to make it very colorful and vibrant or convert to B/W.

Actually, is this considered selective coloring?
Anyway, regardless of what style the guru uses... i think its important to learn from the gurus and find ways to adopt to your own style. Why would you wanna be a copy cat? =)

Rose is red.. the rest is b/w = selective coloring

Not asking TS to be a copycat but to develop your style, you need to first understand what is the current trend. Selective coloring is ok maybe a few years ago but now is just too cheesy. Look at Joho, Will03, Lightedpixel & Canturn's work and see why they are the top wedding photographers in Sg. Look at the top photographers in the States.. dun think you can ever find a pic with selective coloring and there's must a reason why.

Hmm, well maybe its a style that you could try to explore further to make yourself unique. But i kinda agree the tilt is a little over. And maybe a blue tint may not work too well. kinda makes them look a little ghostly? Keep trying though. No such thing as a real passe trend as long as people are still doing it right?

i think the best question to ask yourself sometimes, even tho you shot for yourself (assumably since you were just "trying out" as back up) is this:

if you were one of the girls, would you like this image?

Colours aside, I think this image would be stronger if you went closer instead of a wide angle shot since you wanted to portray the bridesmaids' joy. The background doesn't really do anything for the image because it's neither interesting, nor does it depict any context for the settings where the shot was taken.

Just my 2 cts

wow... thanks for the response. Will learn more & more. By the way, I edited this photo w/o seeing any of the masterpiece here. Is juz pure editing out frm my way.

Will try to expose more and develop my own style.
