Thread: NX2 support for Canon raw?

Default NX2 support for Canon raw?

I am very new into this and would appreciate some help.

I have the latest Nikon NX2 and I just bought a Canon G10 (today) and it supports raw. It does come with some software, though I have yet to see what it does. I understand raw is proprietary, but is there any add-in for NX2 to read Canon raw? Is there any way to read Canon raw and then convert it to some format that NX2 can read? thanks in advance.

Currently, NX2 only reads RAW files from Nikon DSLR. NX2 may read JPEG or TIFF files from other cameras.

If you want to cut all the hassle then convert all files to DNG and start all workflow from there. DNG is camera-neutral and comes from Adobe, all Adobe products can read it.
Converters can be downloaded from adobe.com.
